Everyone who knows me, can vouch that I am a true "HIp--Hop Head". I love good music, as a matter of fact I would choose music over tv, anyday. So there are so upcoming artists who have caught my ear and I cant want for their albums to drop. One of those artist is Dej Loaf.

She hails from Detroit with a distinct look and sound that displays her own originality to carve out her own niche in the hip-hop indusrty. With only 2 mixtapes under her belt, recently signed to Columbia, Dej Loaf hit us with the Summer/Fall anthem "Try Me". So refreshing to see and hear a female emcee that doesn't use her "ASSets" to sell her image to the masses. Eventhough, she did catch some flack for the white fur coat and the Gucci loafers. Overall, she has already established herself as a force o be reckoned with in hip-hop and her album hasn't even dropped. Another artist making waves right now is Troy Ave.

A native from Crown Heights, Crooklyn. He has delivered a funky swagadocious vibe in the hip-hop arena that was clearly missing. He premiered back in 2009 with multiple mix tapes, but was mostly known to underground heads. In 2013, his album dropped entitled "New York City, The Album", to mediocre success. But he is one to watch, believe me....
