After giving birth to her baby girl Alexis Olympia, Serena stepped back onto the tennis court in an all black Nike catsuit at the French Open last May. Of course, mouth's dropped and eyes glared in awe of her physique and she slayed it like the Super She-ro she is. But the skeptics were quick to pounce and criticize her beauty and power, despite the fact that the catsuit assisted in her avoiding life-threatening, post-pregnancy blood clots. The French Federation president banned catsuits claiming the attire "went too far". I digress... What do you do when your critics get at you? You launch a collaboration with the hottest fashion designer on the planet right now, Virgil Abloh - Off White. That's what I call Black Girl Magic. Serena debuted one of the pieces from the Off White & Nike Queen collection, a black asymmetrical ballet tutu, at her premier on the US open tennis courts. And when I say she murdered it: believe me she killed/ cremated and buried it all at the same damn time.

She arrived at the Arthur Ashe stadium decked on in a black leather motorcycle jacket by Off White and a tennis bag with the words "AKA Queen", now run and tell that. LMAO. Details regarding the Off-White "Queen" collection have been limited so far, but it looks like Nike could be preparing to release the Air Max 97 very soon. It could possibly be this week during one of Serena's US Open matches. Only time will tell. But here is a sneak peek of what to expect.

As soon as more detail about official release date and pricing are released I will update me blog. Ya'll already know how these retailers get down - no advance notice and then everything in the collection is gone before you blink your eyes. So if you want a piece of the Queen collection, put up some coin and stay tuned to MKUU. I am the PLUG if you didn't know, now you know....
