With less than a day left in this calendar year, I would like to share some of the fashion collaborations that stood out in 2014. This was an exciting year for fashion with highlights and low areas that are so memorable, that it most certainly requires a moment to look back and reflect. So without further ado, here is a look back.....

Several collaborations that made 2014 a better year for me were alliances with H&M, specifically Alexander Wang and Isabel Marant. I mean if you were lucky enough to find any of the cute sporty crop tops from Wang or fabulous chunky sweaters by Marant, then consider yourself blessed.

Don''t forget about Target, one of my favorite stores for the house - but don't sleep they are most certainly fashion forward. This year they partnered up with Joseph Altuzarra and Tom's. Keeping it edgy and and chic with tailored dresses with funky prints from Alturzarrar and casual and comfortable with denim from Tom's.

Not to leave out two of my fav Go-To retailers J.Crew and Banana Republic. These retailers teamed up with design houses that most certainly made them both stand out ahead of the rest. J. Crew with British Shoe Designer, Sophia Webster, and Banana Republic alongside the Finnish house of Marimekko. Webster's shoes were sassy with funky prints, but still had that classic J. Crew style that we all love.. And Marimekko's collection had bold colors and prints that they have always been recognized for.

We can't let the year pass without paying homage to a fashion icon and legend Oscar De La Renta. He will forever be missed, RIP. And in 2015 there are so many new designer launches and collaborations to look forward to that they have me in a complete frenzy. Well just to begin, Gucci is launching a cosmetic line with Gucci; Eye, Face, Lip and Nail Lines. OMG!!! I can't wait to see if I receive a sample in an upcimng Birchbox. And the Jewelry house Dannijo is starting a shoe line. This shoe line is going to be so friggin sick. It's expected to incorporate beading, metal accents and Swavorski crystals similiar to what the jewelry line currently has. My toes are doing a lil dance at the thought of rocking these babies, best believe they will be exclusive and pricey. Finally, Kohl's is collaborating with Milly, Michelle Smith, for a fresh 2015 spring line.

Well, Happy New Year and please be safe out there.. See you next Year....
