MKUU EVENTS - THE MET BALL 2015

Every year the Costume Institue host it's gala at the Metropolitian Museum of Art aka Met Ball. All of the top celebrities and insiders attend often wearing the most avante garde or over-the-top gowns and outfits. This year was no exception. This year's theme for the Met Gala was Chinese culture. And the stars showed up and showed out - which is an understatement to say the least .

Sarah Jessica Parker aka SJP wore the full Chinese regalia from head to toe. Her look stuck to the Chinese theme spot on. She wore a patchwork H&M gown and a Chinese red, black and silver head-dress. Some didn't understand it, but I thought it was darling. While Rihanna wore an imperial yellow fur trimmed cape embroidered with gold floral scrolls. She also wore an ancient Chinese head-dress.

Then there were classic beauties that stuck to the Hollywood glam and slayed the red carpet. Sexy PR model Joan Smalls killed it in a black and royal blue Roberto Cavalli sheer gown, which had sheer paneling and cut-outs. She also wore a black choker, smoky eye make up, and her hair was slick. Absolutely stunning.

And the night could not be concluded without mentioning the top 3 stunners of the Met ball - King Bey, Kim K and J-Lo. All three wore revealing sheer gowns with so much skin exposed, you might have to put the kiddies to bed. Beyonce wore gold and it appeared to be inspired by the bride in Eddie Murphy's Coming to America. Dont laugh, I saw the memes and the dress almost looks identical. J-Lo wore red with sheer sides which displayed her waist line to her thighs. Wowsers!!! And Kim K wore a white numbe with feathers that didn't break the internet, but damn near came close. LOL

These show stopping ladies are giving us all something to talk about and raising the bar to a limit the might just be unmatched. But we will just have to wait and see what next year's Met ball will bring...
