MKUU COLLAB - H&M and BALMAIN

Everyone has been waiting for it and now it has finally been revealed. Balmain/ H&M released it's full collection, which is due in stores November 5th, just in time for the holidays so save your coins. This is the most exclusive H&M collaboration thus far and the most expensive. Featured in the collection is a hand-beaded/ black, white & gold/ art-deco dress for $649. It's not prices that average H&M customers are accustomed to spending, but Balmain is a designer house that is so exlcusive that they don't even have a boutique located in the US. So to have this label inside of H&M is almost beyond a fashionista's wildest dreams.

Olivier Rousteing is the young creative director behind the impeccible tailoring/ embroidery and the vibrant, glamourous seduction of the designer line. At Paris fashion week, he had all the hottest models featured in his show; Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss, Adrianna Lima and of course Kendal Jenner. Know as the "Balmain Army" the most stylist celebrities are vying for the front row at all of his fashion show; Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Solange and the list goes on and on. So you can imagine I am completely on pins & needles trying to decide my strategy to purchase as much Balmain as possible before it's totally gone.

The collection does have some reasonabley priced items - T-shirts for $35, faux emerald rings for $17, black braided earbuds for $50 and sexy 2 piece - ensembles for under $200. But overall the Balmain collection is consumed with heavily embellished dresses and jackets in the $400 - $500 range. Detailed leather pants and ultra-suede box top purses for $300.

There are also men's pieces in this collection, so you can shop for your male counterpart and not feel bad about maxing out his credit card. LOL. So what, it might be a little bit out of your league. Believe me you will want to shoot yourself in the foot if you don't at least make an attempt to snatch up some of this Balmain collection as soon as it hits the shelves.

Don't say I didn't warn you after you see all of the collection priced for 3 and 4x's the prices on Ebay when it's no longer available in stores. Either way you look at it, this is an opportunity that should not be missed.
