Extra Extra - Read all about it!!! If you are into the DIY scene and gravitate towards items that are handmade or vintage. Then you are in for a treat. Just announced - Macy's in Herald Sq. NYC and Etsy are partnering up to launch a new campaign. Macy's is revamping it's flagship store in hopes of attracting a specific demographic with labels like Maison Jules, American Rag & Vera Bradley already in place. Opening today, Etsy is launching an IRL store on the Millennial focused floor of Macy's, which will have 57 products in jewelry, stationary and housewares. It is expected to have a New York theme and be refreshed every 2 months.

Expect to find sellers like Debbie Lee of Penelope's Press and Aimée and Sara Schiwal of Hook & Matter, as well as Macy's own exclusive items from Soledad Proano of Sol del Sur. I am excited about this collaboration because it changes up the playing field of a major retailer and it could be signaling a shift throughout the entire industry. I'm alwasy looking to stay ahead of the curve and I think Macy's could be pulling ahead of the competition by allowing shoppers to have the experience of finding one of a kind specialties and vintage pieces inside of it's doors. We are moving right along into 2016 and it's look pretty good I must say...
