MKUU BEAUTY COLLAB - MAC & STAR TREK

When you think about Makeup houses many names come to mind: Lancome, Estee Lauder and YSL, but MAC is makeup brand that stands out amongst the crowd. Notorious for it's high quality products, glamorous color palettes, and former iconic collaborations with top celebrities, designers and fictional characters. Since it premiered in 1984 MAC has been the go to makeup line for professionals and amateur fashionistas. Notable past MAC collections are collaborations with fashion duo Alice + Olivia in 2010, Barbie collection in 2007 and who could forget the Hello Kitty collection in 2009. Well fasten your seat belt because MAC is heading to space.... the final frontier. LOL MAC is premiering it's latest collection with Star Trek. You can expect to see a 25 piece make up collection that is out of this world.

The collection also commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Star Trek series and pays homage to the strong women from the current film debut, such as Zoe Saldana, as well as past herioines from movie franchise releases. The collection features items such as, "Light Fantastic Powder in Lunar Luster" to "Pressed Pigment Eye Shadow in Bird of Prey" As well as a host of lipsticks, mascara, lip gloss,etc.... The compilation of makeup in the collection is reasonably priced from $17 to $34, which is not too much coin for diehard fans of Star Trek who happened to enjoy looking good wearing MAC in front of the big screen. The collection will premiere Sept 1, just in time for the back to school shopping list.
