Calling all Seniors!!!!! This is your time to shine and show off. It's Prom time. It is your day to make them look back at it. I am talking about double takes even triple takes. So don't play yourself and wait until the last minute to figure out what to wear on this special night. And what will you pull up in at your toast off, I am talking about a luxury ride or limo. This is officially your last opportunity to leave your mark in high school, so make us proud by doing your homework before taking the test. LOL.

There are so many options, when deciding how to approach your prom night. Can you pull this off alone or do you need the assistance of a stylist? Should you rent a dress or shop for one? What about hair & make-up? It can be totally overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. It all really starts with planning. Give yourself at least 2 months to figure out all of the details and you should be fine. Make sure you coordinate with your date in advance. You don't wan't to show up looking like the Bopsy twins or the total opposite of each other.

And please, no matter how desperate it gets - Don't order dresses on-line. I know some might disagree, but I must draw the line when it comes to prom attire & online boutiques. You are taking too much of a risk with an online store, unless you have made previous purchases and you are aware of the quality and customer service of the online shop. There is nothing worse than ordering something online, when it arrives it looks nothing like the picture and you end up having challenges returning it because of wack customer service. I recommend trying on your dresses and gowns to ensure the fit is ideal or if alterations are needed, they can be made in a timely fashion.

But I would suggest renting designer purses or shoes, if you don't want to splurge on accessories. The following websites have designer dresses, shoes and accessories to rent or buy; stylelend.com, renttherunway.com or bagborroworsteal.com. If you are not make-up savvy, then I suggest scheduling a make-up appointment at your local mall with your favorite brand or Sephora. They know it is prom season, so they have hourly appointments for prom-goers, charging next to nothing to beat their faces. Remember to keep it classy, regardless of whether you are glammed-up in sequins or lace or boldly trying a look that is avant-garde. Be original and stay true to yourself....
