Just when you thought it was safe to stack your coins for a summer vacation that requires your passport, Louis Vuitton has bopped us in the head with yet another smash collaboration. As if the Supreme collab wasn't enough, they have teamed up with renowned American artist Jeff Koons and debuted a Masters collection. The collection is the antithesis of the the Supreme collab, by featuring Koons's "Gazing Ball" paintings, which are reproductions of famous artwork, such as Leonardo Da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" and Vincent Van Gohh's "Wheat Fields and Cypresses" and several more distinguished "Old Master's" art classics.

The Masters selection launched April 28 and is composed of over 50 pieces; from handbags and scarves to small leather goods. Prices are fairly moderate from $595 for a bag charm to $4,000 for a duffel bag, considering it is Louis Vuitton. Also, noteworthy to mention Inside each handbag, is a short narrative and a portrait of the original creator of the artwork featured on the bag, along with Koons's logo - the infamous inflatable rabbit and a monogram of his initials reconstructed into the shape of the LV logo — and it's important to mention that this is the only time LV allowed its famed logo to be altered.

I realize the timing to splurge on bags might not be ideal, but this collab is one for the history books and you will need this purchase for your overall bag collection, especially if you love bags the way that I do...
